nadel-phelan Nadel Phelan, a strategic B2B public relations firm based in Santa Cruz, CA, required a digital platform that matched their reputation for delivering transformative business results. They needed an authoritative, highly structured environment that clearly mapped out their core services, technology verticals, and elite client roster. The vision was a sophisticated corporate aesthetic equipped with clean, interactive elements that guided corporate decision-makers seamlessly through their global footprint and success metrics.
Operating before Figma, our team architected the UI in Adobe Fireworks to capture their corporate identity. I executed a strict 1-to-1 conversion, hand-coding the static layout into a custom WordPress environment. Though a legacy deployment built prior to my current framework, it prioritized rigorous, clean development. I integrated subtle, purpose-driven interactive elements—including sliders, numerical count-ups, data tooltips, and a structured Gravity Forms deployment for enterprise lead capture. By leveraging Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), I delivered a bespoke, polished platform that gave their internal team absolute operational freedom to manage content frictionlessly.
In-House Design to Native Code: Operating prior to modern prototyping tools, our team architected the visual UI in Adobe Fireworks. I executed a strict 1-to-1 frontend conversion into clean code, perfectly preserving their corporate vision.
Purpose-Driven Interactive UI: Deployed subtle, native JavaScript and CSS animations—including dynamic sliders, count-up performance metrics, interactive tooltips, parallax, and hover states—to present their track record without visual clutter.
Frictionless CMS Administration via ACF: Integrated Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) into the backend, providing their internal team with an intuitive framework to update client rosters, press releases, and service verticals effortlessly.
