Moonlight-Bio-new-website Moonlight Bio, a Seattle-based preclinical biotech firm, required an authoritative digital platform to command credibility with institutional investors. To protect their premium positioning, I had to entirely eliminate the risk of technical debt and slow load times inherent to heavy drag-and-drop builders.
I engineered a bespoke, zero-bloat architecture using the proprietary custom WordPress theme framework, completely bypassing generic visual builders. By integrating a native data architecture with a custom lightweight JavaScript engine, I delivered a highly interactive, lightning-fast platform backed by a secure, easily scalable backend.
Pixel-Perfect Design-to-Code Translation: I executed a strict 1-to-1 conversion from original UI files into a custom architecture to ensure the live environment preserves the premium aesthetic critical for biotech investors.
Native Backend Content Control: I mapped complex frontend designs to a fully modular ACF backend, granting the internal team total autonomy to manage heavily stylized content internally without risking broken layouts.
Optimized JavaScript Animation Integration: I bypassed heavy WordPress plugins by tuning a lean, custom JS library to handle complex visual state transitions without introducing frontend bloat or layout shifts.
