victor&whitney - 032026 Victor & Whitney Thomas required a distinctive, high-performance digital invitation and event platform to celebrate their marriage aboard The Nerissa in San Diego, CA. Their primary requirement was a bespoke online experience that could handle multimedia engagement and dynamic gallery interactions seamlessly, without the friction, slow load times, or layout shifts typically associated with standard template setups.
To achieve this, I engineered a stable custom WordPress theme built natively from their team’s Figma UI design. By integrating an asynchronous AJAX-powered gallery and a deeply modular content architecture, I provided their team with an effortless, clean-coded environment to manage event updates and media assets while delivering an immersive, rapid-response visual experience for guests—achieving a verified 93/100 Google Lighthouse performance score at handover.
