Multi-Site Scalability, Dynamic API Routing, Strict Photoshop-to-Code Translation
Fear Overload Scream Park is an award-winning, high-volume seasonal entertainment brand based in Newark, CA. Operating far beyond a single location, their enterprise acquires and manages multiple premium haunted attractions across various markets. As their footprint expanded, they needed a digital infrastructure capable of supporting aggressive seasonal marketing, disparate brand identities, and extreme traffic surges without fracturing their internal operations or diluting their high-end horror aesthetic.
screampark-v3 Seasonal entertainment brands frequently rely on bloated, off-the-shelf templates that break under peak October traffic and compromise their immersive user experience. Fear Overload required a completely bespoke, frictionless baseline capable of translating heavy, highly detailed Photoshop designs into a robust ticketing engine. The core challenge was architecting a centralized system that could handle complex, interchangeable calendar routing across seven distinct sister sites, protecting high-ticket conversion rates without introducing DOM bloat.
Taking the lead on this technical overhaul, I executed a strict 1-to-1 native code translation from their complex Photoshop files directly into the third major iteration (v3) of our custom framework. By completely bypassing drag-and-drop builders, I engineered a highly dynamic architecture built for infinite multi-site scale. I integrated flexible booking logic, an interactive UI map, and a chatbot API to actively capture the lead, ensuring the underlying foundation remained lightning-fast and structurally bulletproof.
By executing clean development practices and deploying this highly modular v3 custom framework, I provided Fear Overload with an incredibly scalable foundation. It empowers their administrative team to efficiently manage complex ticketing and distinct visual layouts across seven different properties without introducing backend technical friction.
Strict Native UI Translation & Multi-Site Scaling Executed a flawless, zero-bloat translation from their immersive Photoshop blueprints into a centralized custom framework. This modular architecture was explicitly engineered to dynamically inherit distinct visual assets, empowering the exact same lightweight codebase to power seven different entertainment properties while perfectly preserving each site’s unique, high-end horror aesthetic.
Dynamic Booking API Architecture Engineered a deeply integrated native booking calendar customized to seamlessly match the dark UI without breaking user immersion. Built for maximum operational scalability, this infrastructure allows their internal team to effortlessly utilize the native calendar system or instantly toggle to external third-party ticket APIs based on the specific operational requirements of each of the seven venues.
Immersive Wayfinding & Lead Capture Integration Developed a lightweight custom interactive map with dynamic pop-up waypoints and securely bridged a live chatbot API directly into the native theme. These customized features perfectly matched the client’s strict visual guidelines, efficiently guiding massive user influxes through event logistics and instantly capturing the lead without relying on the clunky processing drag of standard third-party plugins.
Scaling your seasonal attraction, entertainment enterprise, or multi-site network?
Let’s engineer a high-performance infrastructure built for absolute market authority.
While this custom legacy framework was engineered natively for lightning-fast, zero-latency load times, the client has subsequently injected multiple heavy third-party APIs (including external ticketing layers and live chat software) to support their rapid business scaling.
Although these external payloads currently impact live production page speeds, the current custom builds utilizing our proprietary custom theme framework continue to consistently deploy at a strict 90+ performance baseline. Review current architecture benchmarks
