atd-flight-system ATD Flight Systems, a premier commercial aviation training academy in Kansas City, MO, required a highly dependable digital infrastructure to recruit and onboard prospective pilots. Their primary bottleneck was managing a fragmented application process and complex flight scheduling timetables that overwhelmed their internal team and caused unnecessary friction for high-ticket applicants. They needed a platform that projected institutional authority while functioning as a seamless operational tool.
To execute their strict operational requirements, our team first designed a premium Figma blueprint, which I then translated into a lightning-fast native architecture using our legacy custom theme framework. By engineering custom API scheduling and an automated Gravity Forms-to-PDF pipeline directly into the build, I eliminated administrative bloat and delivered a frictionless, high-performance platform that securely scales their student enrollment without relying on heavy third-party plugins.
Automated PDF Application Pipeline: Engineered a highly tailored Gravity Forms infrastructure that securely captures complex applicant data and instantly generates customized PDF dossiers, completely automating their student onboarding process and saving hundreds of administrative hours.
Custom API Scheduling Integration: Bridged their proprietary flight scheduling API directly into the native theme architecture, ensuring prospective pilots can book training sessions in real-time without experiencing layout shifts or frontend lag.
Strict Figma-to-Code Translation & Content Management: Executed a pixel-perfect, native code translation from our bespoke Figma prototype, ensuring their aviation brand aesthetic loaded instantly for commercial students. This zero-bloat frontend is seamlessly integrated with a structured backend and lightweight Instagram API, empowering their team to update rich flight media on demand without risking layout breaks.
