c2 Competitive Computing, a premier IT strategy and cloud solutions firm based in Colchester, required a digital infrastructure that reflected their high-level technical expertise. To effectively communicate their enterprise services, they needed a dynamic, animation-heavy interface. However, relying on standard drag-and-drop page builders to execute complex scroll animations, sliders, and parallax effects traditionally results in severe DOM bloat, crippled load times, and abandoned B2B prospects.
To solve this without compromising performance, our team designed the UI natively in Adobe Fireworks and engineered a bespoke WordPress architecture powered entirely by Advanced Custom Fields (ACF). By hard-coding the interactions—including parallax depth, text scrolls, and counter animations—we bypassed heavy third-party plugins completely. Coupled with a streamlined backend for frictionless media and text updates, we delivered a lightning-fast frontend experience that commanded technical authority and maximized B2B lead capture.
Native UI-to-Code Translation: Executed a strict conversion from our team’s static Adobe Fireworks design into clean, lightweight PHP and CSS, completely bypassing visual builders to eliminate unnecessary DOM bloat.
Optimized JavaScript Animations: Engineered fluid hover states, parallax scrolling, logo sliders, and dynamic data counters using lean JS, ensuring high-end visual interactions without causing layout shifts or frontend lag.
Frictionless ACF Backend: Built a bespoke administrative environment using Advanced Custom Fields, empowering their internal marketing team to instantly update videos, text, and images without risking broken frontend layouts.
Zero-Bloat Foundation: Deployed an uncompromising native architecture that prioritized absolute speed and structural integrity, preventing prospect drop-off during the crucial enterprise lead generation process.
